In 1992 when I was 24 years old, I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness right after my husband and I returned from our honeymoon to Florida. At that time I had no idea of the incredible miracles that could happen once I let God into my heart and into my healing. I was in shock and looking ahead to what seemed like a life of debilitating disease – a life that most likely would be short-lived. However, as my health declined, my faith grew stronger. Lost in hope and facing some big challenges, God helped me find my way. This book takes you along with me on this journey. Those challenging moments taught me to trust in God completely and, most importantly, to open my mind and heart to all of the ways He works to reach us – even some very surprising ways. He gets our attention to reveal to us how much He loves us, but also to reassure us that through Him all things are possible – even the impossible.
